Museum of London Construction

The Museum of London is being constructed in the Victorian Smithfield Market buildings. At the end of May 2024, I got to take a tour of the new Museum of London with The London Society, led by Paul Williams of Stanton Williams.

I've finally got round to putting together a short video taking you through the two main areas of the museum, and down into the depths of the old Smithfield markets, with the newly discovered brick vaults.

The site was a hive of activity, and we only got about an hour to explore (with Robert Fiehn constantly making sure I wasn't being left behind!). So it's not my steadiest or most refined video, with literally only one handheld camera and lens (no tripod, gimbal, mic, not even the much needed ND filter to help exposure 😬 ).
